Variable frequency drives (VFD) are great for saving energy, but they can create distortions in power systems and electronic equipment that make them unpopular with owners and operators. Solutions exist, however, in packaged VFDs and in specified “extras.” What are your challenges with harmonics? What’s the biggest issue for you?
